Dear Friends,

November was a one of those roller coaster months. There were plenty of ups and downs. I guess we can praise God that we made it through all right. At least it wasn't boring!

We were able to get away for a brief visit to Indiana in November. It was such a blessing to see my family and be surrounded by their love. It is very difficult to get time off for vacation at Open Door because some of the kids cannot go home. We are really blessed to have Billy and Cindy to fill in for us when we need to go on time off.

Several churches and organizations have come forward wanting to do things for the children at Christmas this year. We appreciate this very much and will be providing the children's wish list on the website as well as sending one out to those who are interested. Please note that most of the children will be on holiday after December 19th. You can schedule a time with Wendy if you would like to come or have us come to your church.
