The Latest from the Lungs

Dear Friends.

Thanks for the awesome Christmas! The over-whelming generosity of the churches and individuals has been humbling. 

There were so many people who made this season bright that we don't even have room to mention all of them. I would like to give special thanks to all.

We also had special visits this Christmas. We appreciated out annual Christmas visit from our friends at Merry Hill Baptist Church. They came and visited, played games with the kids, and brought refreshments and gifts. We had a wonderful time.  (See Picture Page)

We appreciate the gifts and special goodies from the American Legion in Edenton. Those Raisin Cookies were great! (See Picture Page)

I especially want to two young people who went out of the way to make this season bright for our children:

We also had an awesome visit from a young lady and her family, Brianna Strough, from Cape Fear Church of Christ. Brianna raised almost $800.00 for the home by having an art sale. She also featured Open Door in a presentation she was doing for one of her school classes. Thanks to Brianna, her mother, Mary, and father, Rick. (See Picture Page)

Thanks to Adam Swain who donated his drum set to our kids. 

Everyone really pulled out the stops and spoiled us.  Thanks.
