The Latest from the Lungs

September 2007

Dear Friends,

School is back in session and the kids are hard at work. With daycare and high school we spend a lot of time running to take someone here or pick someone up from there. Add that together with all the doctor and dentist appointments and you put a few miles on the van.

Logan is in ROTC and is really enjoying it. It's hard to imagine her in the military. This should be good for her.

Olivia has continued taking flute lessons and has joined the band at school.

Michael is taking piano lessons and loving it.

Thomas is really trying to help out around the house. He is always asking me if I need something.

The boys are getting into the routine. Joel and Donovin are really enjoying school work. Sometimes they compete to see who can do the most work!

Speaking of the van, we have been fiddling with a problem with the dash lights for sometime. They don't work. We take it in for repairs and they think they get it figured out but then in a couple of days we have no dash lights again. One of the mechanics told us to leave it for a few days and they "might" be able to track down the problem. But with all the moving about we do we just can't go without a van for a few days. If there are any mechanics out there who have some spare time to donate we would love some help with this problem.

I have been having some back problems as of late and it is making it difficult to take care of chores. Mr. Leon has been great about helping out with the outside chores and everyone has been pitching in to help inside.

Thank you again for all the support. The DVD is ready for distribution. If you would like one, please call or contact the home.

God Bless You,

Loren Harold Lung
