We know that for a parent or guardian, applying to place your child with us is a very difficult and emotional decision. We understand that most parents want to do the best for their child. Let us assure you that we understand and sympathize with you as you go through this process. Many parents may wonder if they have done all they could do or if there was something else. Sometimes they worry about what family or friends will think. Sometimes they worry about what Open Door is like and how your child will be treated. Again, we understand and we are here for you.

We are not hear to judge or condemn. We are here to help you through the difficult decisions and help you and your child to learn and grow. Our staff members are well trained and caring. And we want you to feel free to talk with us throughout the process. If you would like to come and tour the facilities before applying we would be happy to make arrangements.
