Financial
Support: It takes regular support by Churches and Individuals to keep
the ministry running smoothly. Although most of our financial support
comes from churches, we also receive support from individuals, clubs,
organizations, and interested groups. You can give a monetary donation
right on-line!
Donations:
We often receive donations of dry goods, clothing, school supplies,
and paper goods. These are sometimes collected by youth groups, ladies
groups, the boy scouts, and Vacation Bible School kids. We also have a
list of things that we use a lot or need.
Work
Projects: We have over 70 acres of land and several building to keep
up. There are always projects that need to be done by interested
men’s groups, youth groups and individuals who volunteer their time
and expertise.
Visits:
We welcome groups and individuals who want to come and visit with the
kids. Visits can be arranged by calling the houseparents and setting
up a time. Some groups come play games with the kids, go swimming,
lead devotional studies, eat a meal, or just talk. We appreciate our
visitors!

Become
a relief houseparent. Being a houseparent is a 24/7 job. We can always

a night or weekend off.
Get
involved with the kids: You can send cards on their birthdays, become
pen pals, or even visit. We are always in need of people who can help
with tutoring; We are always grateful for the wonderful volunteers who
come to help the children in reading, spelling, mathematics and more.
Become
a board member: Open door is looking for board members from supporting
churches to help continue the vision of helping children.
