CHRISTMAS WISH LIST: In the past, we have issued the children's wish list so that interested parties could purchase items for the children that they might desire. This year we are suggesting gift cards and gift certificates instead of individual gifts.
We also would like to suggest that you come for a Christmas visit or invite the children to a Christmas party.
The children love to go to movies, go bowling, putt-putt, and other entertaining options but there is little money in the budget to do these things. Planning special events apart from Christmas is a good way to show the children the love of Christ throughout the year. Ideas: Passes to theme parks, Gift certificates to movies, or other entertainment options are also good ideas. Most of the children also enjoy fishing and some of the older children enjoy hunting.
Another idea to help the children throughout the year is to get gifts for the home that all the kids would enjoy. On the needs list you will notice camping equipment and canoes which would be enjoyed throughout the year.
The children also enjoy game nights and movie nights. DVDs of appropriate movies are always a good gift. Games for larger groups are always good too. We can always use prizes for the prize box.
